Science Fiction - Gravity, Time And Science

Gravity, Time And Science, That Sounds Like Fiction!

When there was infinity everywhere, and neither order nor chaos existed in the universe. It was dark, silent, and still, like a human thought that has never been cultivated by the mind of a man or woman, and lies in its purity of existence, just within the walls of the mind. With no existence in the palpable reality, where thoughts and human imagination, by means of human action, will produce wonders like: CERN and James Webb Telescope.
The universe was everywhere, yet nowhere. There was darkness that spread everywhere and it seemed to have a secret companionship with infinity. Possible only through a virtue that cancels every other virtue, nothingness. And yet, in this nothingness, nestled infinity, with endless virtues waiting to create new entanglements with different and myriad loops of reality. As of now just a single reality existed, seemingly only the state of nothingness prevailed. Whereas in this nothingness was breeding infinity, that shall lead to the creation of a universe with everything- Endless and vast array of possibilities. Where reality was breeding a prism with multidimensional incidences of reality, and it was waiting, just like a patient serpent coiled in some safe corner, to emerge from its hibernation when the  time was right.
Finally after a long wait, and after having experienced the state of nothingness for infinity, something stirred and it led to the mutiny, where the stillness of universe was breached, leading to interaction of every incidence cast by the multidimensional prism of the universe, and in the process of this agitation, the universe shook, and the slumbering nothingness, entangled with every awakening force of the once sleeping universe, and the random instances of awakenings, led to an explosion, that was big and it banged across the infinity of the universe.
As the universe felt these reverberations of the now wakeful universe, infinity got captured on an ever expanding web of time, and the darkness of the universe was dispelled by light. And the new order was established. The order where every element of the universe could now be understood and measured by using values from the now awake entity, the reality of time and light.
Now, time was everywhere, it was always there ahead of everything. As it spread far and wide, with it came order and synchronisation, where gravity established its supremacy as the Titan who rules over infinity, because without it, now infinity would lose its true value and with it, it now had a more assertive existence.
Here it would be justified to quote a hymn I had heard when I was a young boy. The opening lyrics of a famous TV serial titled Bharat Ek Khoj, which in English translates as : Discovery of India.
Translation:
The NASADIYA SUKTA also of Rig Veda says " In the beginning there was neither existence nor non- existence, no realm, no sky, no air, no earth. There was neither mortality nor immortality, neither any form nor name, neither day nor night.; Darkness concealed darkness. There was, however, only one thing: 'Breath which breathed breathlessly.' This breath desired to create and there was creation. The Gods themselves were not there. How was it formed or was it not formed at all? God only knows; Maybe he knows; Maybe he knows not"
From 'ASAT' -( Non-being) arose 'SAT'- (being). The opposites that are yet complementary entities whose interaction produced and maintained everything.
Does this not sound like the saying " The Lord said 'let there be light ' and there was light"?
Everything is actually referring to the same fact.

I am certain it is getting interesting and you are already in a position to understand where this is leading.

"Let there be light" is an English translation of the Hebrew יְהִי אוֹר‎ (yehi 'or) found in Genesis 1:3 the first part of the Hebrew Bible. This means there was darkness, and to cast that darkness away, light needed to prevail.

Do you need more proof about the nothingness and stillness of the universe? I think there is no harm in knowing more.

You will be amazed to know that even Islamic texts, very clearly refer to Big Bang.
The Qur'an says that "the heavens and the earth were joined together as one unit, before We clove them asunder" (21:30). Following this big explosion, Allah "turned to the sky, and it had been (as) smoke. He said to it and to the earth: 'Come together, willingly or unwillingly.' They said: 'We come (together) in willing obedience'" (41:11). Thus the elements and what was to become the planets and stars began to cool, come together, and form into shape, following the natural laws that Allah established in the universe.

Now the question that arises here, is how could someone, when science and technology existed in their raw forms, talk about such facts? And these scriptures have existed for thousands of years now.

This blog post does not attempt to prove the existence of God. But it definitely makes a sincere attempt to establish the credibility of Big Bang as that cosmic event that created time, light, space and everything that can be measured and proven mathematically.
If we consider the functioning of the universe, it looks like a colossal laboratory, where atoms are almost always forming bonds and forming combinations of atoms leading to molecules with mysterious properties. Mysterious because, the chemistry we are aware of is limited to our understanding of the universe based on the ability of our space probes to venture far into space and send us data that reveals new secrets every time we look at these data sets.
But, in regions called the star factories, the chemistry at work is totally different and it produces molecules with properties so strange that they challenge our existing knowledge of Chemistry.
This makes me believe that science is at work at every level, because in the universe that may appear chaotic, actually nothing is random, even chaos is at play to establish order. Order, that ensures the existence of the universe.
We all know stars are formed and they die. Now if stars would go on consuming gases to fuel their reactions to produce immense volume of energy, the universe would be a  deadly place, with an inferno-like state that never seems to end. But when stars die they die for a reason. In cosmos every act is orchestrated based on a will that is predefined, in a way that it does not need external interference. It is like an algorithm that keeps evolving and perfecting itself. And every element in the universe is a part of this algorithm with millions of logical statements and conditionals stacked together. Any alteration in this logic could trigger a chain reaction of catastrophes that could disrupt the order in the Universe. To such an extent that it could threaten the existence of our species.
Universe is like a silk carpet, where every tiny silk thread contributes to the aesthetic value and completion of the design/pattern of the carpet. You remove a single silk thread, after a while the silk carpet will lose its shape because of the knots that will now tend to loosen. And when it comes to the design/pattern you may not even want to consider it to be aesthetically appealing now. The universe is like this carpet, you remove a single thread and after sometime, the universe may turn into an absolute state of chaos where it will seem to pursue just one goal, to devour everything, and lead it back into the state of nothingness, an everlasting stillness, where nothing exists, neither light nor time. Only commotion in perpetual motion, until it attains the state of stillness, to further evolve into nothingness!
But, like any intelligent machine created by humans, the universe has precautionary measures in place. When components or building blocks of the universe turn awry, the mysterious particle, The Dark Matter, takes the center stage, and I have strong reasons to believe that it tries to repair the carpet by filling the knot that got removed due to external forces. Possibly humans or other thinking species that might exist in the universe.
In one of my blog posts, I mentioned precision engineered atoms that have the capacity to react with any atom, irrespective of their octet or non octet state.
And in universe, when there is utter chaos, the Dark matter seems to be the only force that could initiate the repair work. Even if we look at the human body, where a wound heals due to the repair mechanism of the cells. Similarly, I believe the universe is a conscious thing and it too needs repairs, and there has to be something that would trigger this repair work.
Black holes, although associated with dark forces of the Universe, actually serve a very benign purpose, that of maintaining balance and not letting galaxies collide into one another. And if we look at the black holes, they appear to be spread across the universe with randomised sequencing. But if we look at them closely they have a very definite position in the universe.
And it would be remarkable data driven research that could open our gate to Heavens, if we could gather data on blackholes and work out an algorithm that defines their location. Once we have this data, we can understand many mysterious workings of the universe, and I am certain, it would also offer us a deeper understanding of the God particle and the purpose of Dark Matter.
As of now, from whatever research has been accomplished on these mysterious particles and matter, they are believed to hold the universe together. Like scaffolding. But, I believe apart from scaffolding, they also work as healing agents of the universe. And being atoms with valencies that according to me are dynamic and not static values, they always trick us into believing that we are looking at atom X, whereas it is neither atom X nor atom Y. With its dynamic/variable valency, it can be anything and everything. That perfect God Particle and Dark Matter capable of healing every wound that the universe sustains. Afterall universe too is a huge machine working day and night. And the universe is not only about stars, planets and celestial bodies, it is a lot more than that. It is a perfectly sequenced cluster of balances and counterbalances.
Wow, it seems I am in my science fiction mode of thinking. And logical assessment of the Universe does not seem to collide with the principles of reality, when one is thinking “in science fiction mode.” Afterall, in the beginning there was nothing, there was neither time nor light.” So it proves, from fiction, facts that meet every logical argument of reality can arise, if one has the imaginative bravado and the necessary element of creativity.
And trust me, you do not have to be God to achieve this. Because no matter how hard we try, we cannot be God and we should not play one!

But, if we can understand the exact purpose and workings of the God particle and Dark Matter, perhaps we can afford another Big Bang. Then we shall be the creators of both Light and Time, bound by the force like Gravity. And I believe at CERN we are already simulating miniature versions of Big Bang. And the scientists there, who I think would be science fiction like innovative thinkers, are already seeing God particles in action. They are repeatedly blasting fiction against the robust wall of reality.
But how it sets the commotion in the universe in a state of motion that is more systematic, will have to be understood in more detail. And that is where understanding Dark Matter acquires the status of the real matter. The Gravitinos.
You and everything around you are made of particles.
“But when the universe began, no particles had mass; they all sped around at the speed of light.
Stars, planets and life could only emerge because particles gained their mass from a fundamental field associated with the Higgs boson.
The existence of this mass-giving field was confirmed in 2012, when the Higgs boson particle was discovered at CERN.”
Now this is the actual Nobel prize moment:
With the basic properties of the Higgs boson established, it might appear that what remains to be done is just a few more coupling measurements to complete the table and that’s it. But there’s much more to it than that.
The Higgs boson is a mysterious particle, different in several ways from all particles seen so far, and connected to many unanswered questions in physics. The most well known connection is with the Brout-Englert-Higgs (BEH) mechanism that gives mass to the W and Z force carrier particles. Physicists have now seen that the Higgs field is also responsible for the masses of the heaviest of the three generations of matter particles, but whether it also gives mass to the other two remains to be seen.”
This is what I have emphasised on, via my several blog posts, it is time to invest in and study new Physics. I would call it the Physics to understand the Heavens!
Again quoting from the CERN website: “The Higgs Boson is a fantastic laboratory for new physics searches. The journey is only just beginning.”
Now if you are thinking why do we need New Physics. This should convince you.
The scientists who discovered the Higgs boson, the so-called God Particle, have set their sights on even bigger prey – dark matter.

The Atlas and CMS teams at Europe’s Large Hadron Collider (LHC) are investigating a hypothesis that the Higgs boson itself might decay into the mysterious particles thought to make up 80 per cent of the stuff in the universe.”
Now 80% of the stuff in  the universe is not a ratio that one can ignore. Do you think otherwise?
If we understand this, then science fiction writers will have to rethink how to write science fiction, because then physics will attain Midas touch like qualities, in reality. And to keep the community of brave scientists enthused enough to delve further into the understanding of Dark Matter, science fiction writers will have to take their flight of imagination beyond the Dark Matter, they will have to reach the boundary of infinity. And at that stage, like always, science fiction writing will motivate few scientists to sit together and ponder on the main question, “where do we go from here?”
Because with the understanding of Dark Matter, we would scale the limits of infinity. And when that happens, it is either an eternal end or a new beginning, and we will have to choose with caution!
Here I would like to quote a few lines from one of poems, that offers a different perspective on eternity and mortality.

With mortal thoughts one can never seek immortality,

Just like a beautiful rose of Summer cannot create an eternally beautiful garden of memory,

So my darling let us seek eternity, where immortality lies in its absolute piety,

Towards the seekers of the illusive Summer rose that beautifies every memory,

And in my science fiction novel, They Loved in 2075, I too have created a story that imagines beyond the God particle, but without losing the grip of reality. That is why the science fiction novel, They Loved in 2075, asks many questions that would be a reality in 2075, and if we are to avoid falling victim to this evolving and unpredictable reality, it is very important that we address these questions now.
They Loved in 2075, is a science fiction novel that asks real questions through an exciting story. How will humans experience love in 2075? This science fiction novel navigates through the possibility of men and women falling in love with machines, without knowing they are robots imitating human emotions. Will you still dare to fall in love in 2075 or will you strive to tell the difference between a human lover and a robotic lover?
This Sci-fi novel tells the story of a man who falls in love with a real woman in 2075. And how he struggles to feel human and keep his emotional composition intact.
This Sci-fi novel also aims at revealing why the man chose to love a real woman and not a never ageing and always beautiful woman with synthetic feelings. In 2075, this might be a choice we all will have to make. Especially our children!
And choosing to read the science fiction novel, They Loved in 2075, is the first right step in this direction.
As you take your step in the direction of responsible reading, I am working on the second part of the scifi novel, They Loved in 2075. It will deal with much bolder scientific ideas, and based on my initial review of the second part of this science fiction, it will open new avenues of adventurous scientific thinking, where Dark Matter is forced to have a direct confrontation with the light of reality. Though for now, merely in the science fiction novel, titled: They Loved in 2075!
Let there be light of new scientific thinking and brave physics!
