Science fiction : Recondite facts
It must have been late afternoon when the plane flew over me and unlike my childhood days, I knew what were the factors that helped it to maintain its flight. There was nothing recondite about it. Nevertheless, even in 2023 there are many facts that remain a mystery to this day.
Take for example :
Traveling faster than light ( Which I believe may not be possible, because then everything around us, including us, will change its form. Even the parameters of time will change, so travelling faster may not be impossible. But when made possible, the science of changing physical states of humans while not losing their conscience or memories, will be a challenge.
And due to this reason it is a new discipline of science that we should invest in, because anything that will travel faster than light, will undergo a physical change, because its mass and dimensions will change.
Time and its manipulation
Worm holes ( Although I believe there are none. But there are pathways across the universe that shorten the distance from point A to point B. For one simple reason, the universe is a gigantic space )
Dark energy ( These are divine secrets and should be revealed only at appropriate time; and only to the deserving minds, with beautiful hearts )
Dark matter ( Again these are divine secrets and should be revealed only at appropriate time; and only to the deserving minds, with beautiful hearts )
Unifying theory of everything ( According to me this too is possible and the clues are already there. With some application of little more thought and by using an AI model with right arguments and conditionals, generating the unifying, or ultimate theory about everything is possible )
Quantum mechanics ( Well this is a fascinating topic. I understand what it refers to and what it is capable of achieving. But I am yet to understand a few aspects. Once I am done, maybe then I will be in a better position to comment on it. As of now, most of the physicists are grappling with this topic )
Green energy ( Recently I watched a program where it showed Finland’s advanced engineering. They are developing an underground system of tunnels to dump radioactive waste, in the casing of iron, covered with copper, that is finally sealed in cases of special earth. And then it is left to decay in these cases for thousands of years. Though nuclear power will catapult human civilisation to new heights of advancement, we are still unable to develop a truly green source of energy. Again, it is already being used in nature and happening right in front of us, but we need to pay a little extra attention if we are to develop an energy source that is green and clean.)
Super powerful computing machines ( Again there is no need to develop a quantum computer, because we already have the technology to develop super powerful computers that will process data far exceeding the capabilities of quantum computers. I call it dedicated computing machines that work in sets. Anyway, let us wait and watch, maybe a true quantum computer is something like a quantum leap in the computing world. Who knows. But I still believe we can create a super quantum computer based on the existing technology. Without having to reinvent the wheel.
There are many other mysteries that leave us puzzled even today. But in 2023, with the given advancements in science, I believe it is the most propitious time to explore new scientific ideas, something I call “Brave Science.” Where we dare to propose concepts like gravity, time, string theory etc.
As of now we are only improvising on what the bygone generation of scientists left for us to tinker with mentally. In terms of new concepts, there is almost nothing.
They say, there are worm holes. But I say, there are none, but there are pathways in the universe that shorten travel time. And it is a huge network where many factors need to be taken into account prior to working on a project of this scale. It will be a massive scientific undertaking. For many obvious reasons far bigger than CERN, because it will need a lot of data. But once done, we can cover the distance of many light years in a few years. Now that is science, and that is why I call it “Brave Science.” Where you dare to think differently and work on your idea with such dedication that you finally prove that you were right.
Let us consider the following numbers:
Imagine you are at point 7 and you are supposed to reach point 52. And the rest of the numbers represent the galaxy, if not the universe you live in. And each number represents a force, a celestial body etc. etc. So there are infinite possibilities to reach from point 7 to point 52. But the right and shortest possibility is what will matter the most when it comes to space travel at galactic level. And this is the kind of science we should be invested in, in 2023. Maybe via this blog post I am indirectly attempting to promulgate this concept because I strongly believe it is possible and it is the only way to create real wormholes.
And there is no room for error, when it comes to this. Because then, while we are enroute to point 52, it may happen that we leave our point of origin i.e. point 7 and we never arrive at point 52, because we entered into a maze like dimension of gravity where the universe that we are in. Now, loops in and loops out, and we remain oscillating between points 7 and 14. Unable to reach point 52.
In space laws of known physics work to some extent, but in higher dimensions most of them fail. So we shall be left on the seesaw of gravity and other forces, where one pulls us outwards and the other one pulls us inwards. And it will be impossible to break free from this tug between forces, until the celestial bodies in the network of forces around this space, either disintegrate or fuse together, to alter the dynamics of this tug. And then perhaps release us or expatriate us completely.
And we are lucky that we are in 2023, because today brave science does not tantamount to profanity. Like it did a century ago. The scientist who dared to be too bold, was not prosecuted, but certainly persecuted. And, with this liberty that we enjoy in 2023, if we still refrain from brave science, then we definitely need to re-think and reassess our scientific acumen as well as caliber.
Every scientific venture is worth trying, worth attempting, because there is nothing prodigal about science. But I believe in 2023, we humans have so many mental and physical preoccupations that we have lost scientific proclivity.
And this blog post is a humble attempt to revive this scientific proclivity and dare to be brave. I also took this personal quest a little further, by writing a very interesting science fiction novel, They Loved in 2075.
It refers to many brave scientific ideas while not losing touch with reality because it is set in 2075, when humans are struggling to deal with extreme Climate Change and Global Warming. But few humans have developed special adaptations that help them cope with these changing climatic conditions and extreme global warming. However, humans are surrounded by self aware machines and this alters their ability to emote like sensitive humans. In the midst of this, the main character in this scifi novel falls in love with a beautiful woman, who struggles to express her feelings like a human being.
They loved in 2075, is a romance science fiction, but it is about science, it is about human emotions, it is about self aware machines, it is about global warming. But most important of all, it is about your children and grandchildren, and how they will cope with the reality of 2075.
They Loved in 2075, is a science fiction where you are already at point 52, all you have to do is recall the way back home.
It is as easy as this and as complicated as this. Wondering how? Because home is where the heart is. And it is possible that now your heart is in love with point 52 and it is preventing you from recalling the way back to point 7. It can happen! That is why good and non invasive technology is a great means to achieving new goals. Because even when your heart is in love with point 52, the system that tracked the route from point 7 to point 52, will always be able to identify the route. Because for it 7 and 52 are nothing more than points or numbers, and it will follow your instructions no matter what.
And the science fiction novel, They Loved in 2075, raises this point as well.
Anyway, welcome to point 52!
