What will the world be like in 2075
From an economist's point of view, overall it is a thriving economy, with many countries having achieved notable economic progress, but there are still few countries trying their best to reach economic goals essential for them to acquire the status of developed nations.
All together the World presents a very rosy picture in 2075. Particularly for the one who only notices superficial details and does not care much about anything, other than his/her own life and that of his/her loved ones. As long as everything is fine within this emotional circle he/she feels there is nothing wrong with the world.
However, that is not true!
Because the world in 2075 is like a rose blooming over a branch laden with thorns. But the population of men and women with less sensitive attitude, only see the rose, without realising that the base of the rose is now covered with thorns, to the extent that the stem and the branch that used to bear the rose, have transformed into a coral like formation of thorns. And it takes a sensitive person to realise this change and not get carried away by the sight of the rose. That actually is waiting to be plucked by someone from this thorny nightmare.
So, what has changed in 2075 and why did I refer to the thorn and rose analogy?
There is a reason that you shall comprehend better as you conclude reading this blog post.
The early morning rush still dominates the daily office routine, people still have to deal with their Monday blues, there is trade and commerce that is growing at a much faster pace than today in 2023, and technology is part of every human transaction. By transaction I mean every interaction of human beings: social, economic, personal, emotional, physical and mental. Technology has become an integral part of everyday life, and without it nobody can imagine to lead a normal lifestyle.
Most humans will find it difficult to survive for more than a week without these technology driven smart interfaces and platforms.
It is like a blessing that all humans feel indebted towards, but they are beginning to realise its adverse effects on their overall development. Especially social and interpersonal development, which is why humanity is endangered by a very unique form of crisis, the inability to forge long lasting relationships.
When you go to a departmental store you are greeted by self aware humanoids. You do not visit the cash counter for payments, the moment you exit, the system already knows the list of items purchased by you and deducts the total amount from your account. It is a special account with a purpose built isolated existence to avoid it from being compromised.
As you exit the departmental store, the shopping details are sent to your device, dedicated for banking related transactions and shopping purposes only.
This device is custom developed and is designed not to be hacked by any system expert. It always creates different network paths and the main IP that it rides to connect with data receiving entity, is automatically bifurcated into multiple network threads, which merge at another IP hosted on state of the art WAN systems, where this information is first parsed via decryption and re-encryption buckets, that then ride multiple network threads, before merging as single network, with consolidated information, where now it is managed by another state of the art concept, that in 2075 is called network policing.
Once it detects a packet of information, it is able to understand the randomly generated decryption key generated at the source, this allows it to recognise the receiver network IP, and then it pushes these information packets into multiple pseudo networks, which converge via a randomly generated secure network to push the packet of information into the receivers network.
The moment the receiver gets the message, the network that sends the information, enters into a blackout mode and loses its existence all together. Thus making it hacking proof. Because there is nothing or no trace of that network.
But the hackers also have invented a bot that chases these packets of information, and enters these pseudo networks via these packets, but at the decryption stage where the packet identifies itself, the sender network IP that also exists in stealth mode, is unable to proceed with IP handshake, with networks that do not contain these multiple and distributed secret IP key recognisers ( These keys get generated randomly and are never the same. This has given hackers nightmares. They always fail at the decryption stage and the chaser malware bots always get isolated and flushed out of the system at this stage.)
Moreover, the hardware device that receives the information is also built with many custom features that are unlike smartphones, that can easily be hacked. As a result, they have been rejected by many countries as a secure tool for monetary transactions.
These devices dedicated to facilitate monetary transactions and receive important information, are built on secure platforms with many technological advancements that make them highly secure. Moreover, they have a mechanism that is able to change the identity and hardware IP of the device. And for this, the developers of the hardware have used a new coding language , where a program that is hard coded, always gets hard coded into many other variants of the program. So even if a hacking bot enters the device, it will tend to get confused when it comes to detecting the layer of the program it should interact with.
Even at this stage there is a decryption key that is always randomly generated within the hardware, and only the native program with all variant layers of program is able to recognise this key. And without the key, the malware bot is unable to infiltrate the hardware setup of the device. Moreover, even if it managed to access it somehow, now it will have to deal with the main security layer, where the hardware presents itself as a video streaming device, scanning device, QR code generator, voice recognition tool, etc. etc. there are many layers which get added over the main hard coded part of the device which is actually a simple information receiving interface.
So, in reality all these are fake programs to capture the bot, and the original code lies hidden within these false identities of the code. And it is highly efficient because each layer ( almost 100000 layers ) carries a small bit of the original code. Which in the backend gets assimilated via the decryption key that carries the identifier to all these code bits. That is enough about the device!
It is a state of the art coding language, which is none of the coding languages being used in 2023. Because most of the coding syntaxes are vulnerable to threats, it is by nature of the programming languages and their syntax protocols which fail to generate threat proof and secure coding logics. And their weakest aspect being the inability of the native code of a program to generate code bits randomly, so that the hackers are misled. If this can be achieved, the programming languages will become highly secure. But in 2023 none of the programming languages is able to achieve this level of security at the coding level.
In 2075 there is a new language that is coded by few men and women, with no intervention from quantum processing machines, because anything that is in the network can get hacked.
So these devices are coded on isolated machines with no network connection whatsoever.
Ah that is a lot of coding, the hardware is what makes it far more interesting. But let me reserve that for another blog post.
Coming back to the world in 2075, humans are surrounded by machines from everywhere. The sky is filled with fast moving objects during the day, and when it is night, one can hardly see the stars. It is these flying objects that cover the entire sky.
Humans have to compete with human looking and self aware machines. But in many cases these self aware machines are proving to be great friends of humanity. But in many cases they are an unwanted menace.
For example:
Playing the roles of human actors in movies. Ah, no wonder they look like humans, they even act like humans, at times better than humans, but the viewer always has a haunting question to deal with. “Shall I as a human being do the same or feel the same as well?
Because it may look like us, but there can be no algorithm to replace human feelings or emotions. Although by using well defined programs and highly sensitive sensors, we can make a self aware robot to express grief via its facial contours and even make it shed tears, the viewer always knows that these tears are falling on the barren and an artificial ground of feelings. And it is at this moment the viewer loses interest in it. Because it cannot relate with the character of the human being played by a self aware and an intelligent machine.
However, the younger generation of men and women do not feel this way. They fail to recognise this difference. And the reason is very clear. Their exposure to technology is so overwhelming that they are unable to develop the emotions of a true human being.
They lie somewhere between the real and the unreal, and by the time they turn 18 years old, they feel and emote better with machines, because with them the spike of expectations is NIL. And they almost always avoid interactions which lead to emotional expectations, because this puts their mind under tremendous stress, since it is unable to recognise it as a need of the bonding or relationship forming process.
As this community of young men and women is growing, it is putting the originality and variety of human emotions at risk of getting diluted , where after a few generations humans too will possess and express synthetic feelings.
Feelings, where there is emotion tied to it, but that emotion has no existance in the sentimental horizon of that human male or female. And this makes these expressions of emotions devoid of true human essence.
In 2075, it is the growing threat humanity is facing, but they have manufactured this threat themselves. And they are still failing to understand the drawbacks of long and continued exposure to technology.
But there are a few business owners who still believe in prioritising human values over profit, and they have recognised this threat and are tirelessly working with their technology experts to overcome this situation.
It is due to their efforts and awareness campaigns, that the world in 2075 is witnessing evolution in the education system, where human based interactions are encouraged.
Many intelligent and highly conversational machines are being recalled from many deployment points, and the world is rethinking the deployment strategy of these self aware machines.
For example in 2075, lawyers use AI based arguments to help them with their legal proceedings, but the final verdict rests with the judge. Who is always a human being and he/she arrives at his/her decision without seeking any aid from AI based interfaces. They had tried installing AI based machines as judges, but in few legal proceedings, where the final verdict could not be based on known legal clauses , because the nature of the case was such, that it did not fit any predefined legal clause.
Thus leading to a situation where the verdict could only be issued based on human examination, and based on genuine human emotion. That is where the AI lacked and was decommissioned.
So, 2075, is a learning phase for humans when it comes to knowing and determining where to use AI and where not to use AI. But they definitely are learning from their mistakes and making amendments, but if these aspects are recognised today in 2023 and dealt with, we may avoid many threat like situations in 2075.
But do we have the motivation and the will to do so? That is the main question in 2023!
And to offer you the motivation and the purpose in 2023, I wrote my science fiction novel titled: They Loved in 2075. It is set in 2075 and bears moments of emotional highs and lows, as you witness two lovers in 2075 struggling to stay together and express feelings of love, while fighting a war to prevent their respective clans from becoming extinct.
It also asks a few important questions like: How will humans experience love in 2075? This science fiction novel navigates through the possibility of men and women falling in love with machines, without knowing they are robots imitating human emotions. Will you still dare to fall in love in 2075 or will you strive to tell the difference between a human lover and a robotic lover?
Experience the world in 2075, via the science fiction novel: They Loved in 2075.
